The suspects were caught with human parts in a coffin at a shrine in Akwasiase for money ritual and powers.
The fetish priest, Nana Ampadu also known as Tano Komfo in an interview with Adom News said the young boys came to him for powers but did not tell him they had a coffin with them.
So after some incantations, he claimed his gods told him about the human head in the coffin but the twins denied it.
“They told me it was their shrine but they wanted powers for it to work but when I opened it, I saw human head, cutlass, white calico, power and perfume” he said.
Tano Komfo noted that he immediately became alarmed but told the boys to go and buy some other things for the final rituals.
Nana Ampadu said he quickly informed the Tepa police of the incident and they were apprehended.
The Ashanti Regional Public Relations Officer, ASP Yusif Tanko confirmed this bizarre incident to Adom News.
He said one of the twins, Kwame Atta was arrested but his elder brother managed to escape was later arrested.
The twins according to ASP Tanko are in police custody but they are yet to decide whether to put them on remand or release them on bail pending investigations.
